This Privacy Policy explains how Clarisia ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit clarisia.net (the "Site"). We built Clarisia to be a calm, useful place — this policy is written the same way: plainly, and without more data collection than we actually need.
1. Information we collect
We collect as little as possible. Depending on how you use the Site, this may include:
- Information you give us directly: your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter, or details you provide if you contact us.
- Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as your browser type, device type, approximate location (city/country level), pages visited, and referring site, collected through standard web server logs and, where enabled, privacy-conscious analytics tools.
- Purchase information: if you buy the Clarisia Notion template through our store, payment processing is handled entirely by our store provider (currently Shopify). We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
2. How we use your information
- To operate and improve the Site and its content.
- To send newsletter emails to subscribers who opted in, and to let you unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand, in aggregate, which guides and articles are useful, so we can write more of what helps.
- To respond to questions or requests you send us directly.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records related to store purchases.

4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers who help us run the Site, strictly to the extent needed for them to provide that service:
- Hosting providers (currently Cloudflare Pages), who serve the Site's files.
- Email/newsletter providers, once a provider is connected, to deliver the newsletter you opted into.
- Store and payment providers (currently Shopify), to process purchases of the Notion template.
- Where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above — for example, your email address for as long as you remain subscribed, or transaction records for as long as required by applicable tax law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below — we'll respond as promptly as we can.
7. Children's privacy
Clarisia is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll remove it.
8. International visitors
Clarisia is accessed globally. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be processed in a country other than your own, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Site evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
